What can I use this item for ?

Typically, isolators are used for protecting transmitter outputs. If the antenna fails and SWR goes high, the Tx power is not reflected back to the Tx but instead is dissipated in the dummy load of the isolator. Remote 70cm band repeaters often fail due to antenna damage during storm, lightning or from bird impact. This isolator will take care and fully protect the transmitter until the antenna is restored.
Another important application is for Trunking Radio System in Tx combiners. Suppose the isolation between transmitters is insufficient. Insert this isolator and obtain another 50 dB. There are many other applications.
